01 · Dhaka — 1997
Formative work at Anando, a peace and development non-profit under Dr Rev. Fr. Klaus Beurle (1997–1999), alongside a Bachelor's and Master's in Social Science (Sociology) from the University of Dhaka. A period that framed business as inseparable from ethics, community and development.
02 · Dammam & Manama
A decade in Saudi Arabia — Marketing Officer at WESCOSA and HR & Training Development Lead at Electrical Industries Co. (EIC), where he built a training function for 2,000+ staff and supported EIC's 2013 Tadawul IPO. Then Bahrain, as Director of Bradford Training & Consultancy and Chair & Co-Founder of LBCO WLL.
03 · United Kingdom
An MBA (Leicester), MSc Marketing (Ulster) and a PhD in Financial Management (University of Greater Manchester, 2023), progressing into lectureships in finance, marketing and global business — with a research focus on CRM, Islamic banking and digital finance.
04 · Today
Lecturer and Module Lead for the MSc Global Business at GBS (Bath Spa University Partnership), London; international trainer and consultant; and business mentor under the UK Government's "Help to Grow" scheme.
